A pet liability insurance is usually required
Important for you to know: As soon as you are a resident of Hamburg, you have to take out dog liability insurance for your dog in case your pet causes damage. Then your personal liability insurance covers the cost of any damage to the apartment. However, many lessors require a liability insurance policy specific for pets.
