Nothing works without teamwork! Our customers are usually in a hurry. That's why our teamwork is flexible. We avoid fixed contact people as much as possible and keep all information accessible to all colleagues. Everybody knows what is going on, so everybody can help immediately. This means better, faster service for you.

Ingrid Markusse

Ingrid Markusse

Managing Director

Ingrid is always ready to meet challenges head on and enjoys the thrill of finding solutions. She loves the fact that there is no standstill in her job. There is always a "next step." From the very first hour she has been convinced by the concept of temporary furnished accommodations. The development of the industry over the last decades makes this lawyer proud. Her greatest motivation is seeing everything working and the team acting as one.

Frederick Wencke

Frederick Wencke

Senior Consultant

Together with Ingrid, Frederick had the courage to try something new in 1987 when they founded the Mitwohnzentrale. The company name has changed, but the daring remains. Every day he has to learn about new topics, and that is exactly what Frederick enjoys. This is a boss who keeps his cool even in new and nerve-wracking situations. Frederick was key in establishing a quality network for furnished interim apartments . He was chairman of the former REM network for many years. Today he is also the managing director of Zeitwohnwerk.

Harald Jablonski

Harald Jablonski

Hardly anyone has been with us for as long as Harald. He joined City-Wohnen (still known as the Mitwohnzentrale) in 1988. He is responsible for corporate clients and can draw on a true wealth of experience. Due to his calm and balanced manner, he a favorite contact person for our long-term regular customers.

Akina

Akina

Feel-good-Manager

Nobody has a coat as soft as Akina’s. If she were a candy, then she’d surely be milk chocolate. Akina belongs to Harald and has been his faithful companion for many years. She is 100% reliable and always ready for an adventure. Balanced but with spark is a good way to describe this Flat-Coated-Retriever lady.

Kristina Strobel

Kristina Strobel

Private Client Team

"I'd like a view of the ocean" may be just about the only wish Kristina is not able to fulfill, and you can blame that on geography! Every day, though, she goes to great lengths for our customers - so much so that one nice gentleman brought her chocolates to the office. He was overjoyed that Kristina found him an apartment in the same building as his grandson. She joined City-Wohnen in 2003, and curious as she is, she has tried to have an "aha-experience" every day since.

Wiebke Schöps

Wiebke Schöps

Private Client Team

A lot has happened at City-Wohnen since Wiebke joined the team 1995: a few name changes, a big move, and technology that is developing faster and faster. What never changes for Wiebke? The focus is on our customers, the people behind the inquiries and apartments. "I aspire to meet every customer's needs and to know at the end of the day that everyone is satisfied. That motivates me anew every day."

Anja Greving

Anja Greving

Anja is always on her toes and has a lot of positive energy. That helps her take care of the wishes of our private customers every day. She is the mother of two children herself, so she especially loves helping families find accommodations. Our team perks up their ears when customers from Spain or Latin America call because then they can enjoy the music of her fluent Spanish!

Sina Zollondz

Sina Zollondz

Sina's motto is “Nothing is impossible!” Whether it concerns the desires of an apartment seeker or those of a lessor, each case is individual. Through her lively, direct and efficient manner, Sina manages to respond to each of our clients and meet their needs. She never loses sight of human kindness and fair cooperation, though, as these are particularly important to her.

Dunja Hoop

Dunja joined City-Wohnen in 2020 bringing her talent for organization and international people skills with her. She honed those skills not only in international trade, but also as a tour guide in Andalusia. That’s good for City-Wohnen customers!

When she is not in the office, you can probably find her on a walk with her super-cute – not to mention super active – pedigree Kromfohrländer named Nieke.

Joana Moths O'Neil

Joana Moths O'Neil

Private Client Team

Joana loves working with people, getting to know many cultures, and adapting to her clients’ individual needs. For her it is one of the most inspiring challenges to support people from all over the world as they get started in the most beautiful city in the world. Joana has been doing this for many years at City-Wohnen.

American born and raised, Joana is predestined to support our English-speaking clients and take care of our many, many translations. Having chosen Hamburg as her second home, she can understand why so many people want to come to here.

Gabriele is always on tour and moving full speed ahead. She and Stefanie share the reception and back-office duties such as preparing inspection reports, answering inquiries, and editing floor plans and photos. Those tasks never get boring, but it's the field service that keeps her moving the most. You will see Gabriele at apartment viewings and handing over the apartments at move-in and move-out. "I love working with all kinds of different people, and I am always impressed by how beautifully designed many apartments are. You get a few ideas for your own home.”

Muriel Ahlberg-Maak

Field Service Team

Muriel has been part of our field service team since 2016. Her job is to hand over apartments to new occupants in an orderly fashion and to check them back out at the end of the rental period. At handovers she inspects the condition of the apartments very carefully to ensure that everything is in perfect order for all lessees. "After the first year, the procedure was engraved in my mind. I can’t even walk past a small defect in my own home anymore.”

Michael Nemes

Michael’s (“Call me Mitch”) charming manners predestine him to work with people, so he is the perfect fit for field service. He takes care that our temporary lessees get a good start in the apartments they’ve chosen and that everything runs smoothly when moving out. He especially likes the variety. Every day in field service you meet new people, get around Hamburg a lot, and see a wide range of apartments, interior design and views. "The view from the 20th floor of the most beautiful city in the world is always a treat.”

Jürgen Höfer

Take an eye for the beautiful and aesthetic, add a large portion of professionalism, flexibility and calmness, et voilà, there you have Jürgen. He has been with us as a photographer for many years now, and that makes for a lot of memories and funny situations. "Of course, there is always the same procedure - taking and editing pictures - but the dwelling, the people, and the surrounding areas are different every day. That is the beauty of it.”
