It has proably happened to you during a walk through Berlin too: Catering wagon, cameras and floodlights, and a mass of people. Furthermore, your favourite café is closed to the public. Exactly - a new film is being recorded! Really nothing new in Berlin.

And, where are the crew living? The director, the actors, the camera team, the assistants, producers ..... correct: in temporary furnished apartments in Berlin.

"Am anderen Ende" a film from the film academy in Ludwigsburg, was nominated twice for the renowned First Step Award in 2009! First Steps decorates the best films from academies in Germany in several different categories. "Am anderen Ende" was not only nominated, it also won the awards for the short and animated film as well as the prize for best script. A confirmation of all the hard work for the whole crew from "Am anderen Ende".

The Berlin premiere of "Am anderen Ende" takes place on Thursday the 12th of November in a double header with the film "Thank you Mr. President"
